MOBILE — The Wilcox-Central Jaguars have lived to play another day after pulling out a close 58-55 win over the Vigor Wolves in the Class 5A south regional tournament.

The Jaguars had to rally to beat Vigor, who was playing in front of a heavily partisan crowd at the Mitchell Center on the campus of the University of South Alabama. Vigor is located in Mobile.

The Jaguars have advanced to the regional finals Saturday at 8:40 p.m., where they will meet either Selma or Faith Academy. Selma and Faith are set to tipoff at 1:30 p.m. today.
