The National Weather Service in Birmingham has updated a hazardous weather outlook statement for Dallas and surrounding counties, predicting a chance of freezing rain.

Forecasters say the freezing rain chances will be limited to south of the Interstate 85 and U.S. Hwy. 80 corridors as temperatures will be near freezing when moisture moves into the area. Accumulations depend on low temperatures tonight and early Thursday morning.
