Juana “Kay” Wade of Clanton, AL departed this life on Wednesday, January 20,2011.
She was born in Clanton, AL on January 12, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Varah Williamson and her biological mother Marie Pugh.
She is survived by her daughter Kayla Wade Cook (Phillip) and her
grandson Wade Matthew Cook, brothers Clyde Bender (Ruby) and Ben Bender (Alice), sister Mary Lee Hatfield (James), and brother-in-law Eddie Wade (Cathy), extended family Lori and Perry Smith and their sons Winston anRiley Smith. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, andmany dear, beloved friends. She was an active member at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at
Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011
at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Creek UMC.
Burial will follow at Chilton Memorial Gardens.
Flowers or a memorial contribution can be made to Walnut Creek UMC or the Alabama Kidney Foundation.
