Mr. Albert Lavone O’Shields, Sr., age 82, of Smyrna, died January 3, 2011. Mr. O’ Shields retired from Lockheed-Martin after 30 years of service, and he was also a Mason with Nelms Lodge #323 and a Shriner. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Ouida A. O’Shields.Survivors include his son, Albert O’Shields, Jr. of Ellijay, GA; daughters, Donna Kay Rowe, of Smyrna, GA and Deborah Lynn Fox, of Lavonia, GA; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Hicks and Dorothy Bartlett, both of Selma; brother, Daved O’Shields, of Selma.Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6, 11:00 AM in Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with Masonic Rites will immediately follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
