Ruby Kynard Johnson, age 84, of Selma, died Monday December 13, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.N. “Bill” Johnson. She is survived be her nephews, Lloyd Kynard (Wilma) of Atlanta and Richard Suther (Ruth) of Verbina; niece, Shirley Pugh (Harry) of Selma; cousins, Jerry Harrison of Selma and Tommy Harrison of Alabaster and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday December 16, 2010 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Aaron Ellison officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday December 15, 2010.

Active Pallbearers will be Wade Pugh, Jerry Harrison, Tommy Harrison and Kyle Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy McCauley and Jerrod Kynard.
