Helen M. Knight, 71, of Burnsville, AL passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at her home surrounded by family.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband of 35 years, Pete Knight; daughters, Wanda (James Jr.) Sealy of Prattville and Tammy (Joe) Miller of Prattville; sons, Butch (Lynda) Sherbett of Dacula, GA, Gary (Kara) Knight of Atlanta, GA, Fred (Debbie) Knight of Burnsville, and Bobbie (Sherry) Knight of Montgomery; brothers, Wendall (Brenda) Carter of Prattville and Ferrell (Linda Ann) Carter of Milton; sisters, Kaye Hobbie and Cheryl Miller both of Selma; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benion “Buck” Carter and Alma Abbott Carter.
