The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a hard freeze warning for Dallas and surrounding counties Thursday night.

Forecasters say temperatures will be around 15 degrees across portions of North Central Alabama overnight.

Dallas and surrounding counties should see temperatures in the upper teens and low 20s.

These conditions may result in dangerous burning conditions Thursday afternoon as the relative humidity is expected to drop below 25 percent for several hours.
