Mrs. Lula M. Courtland, 85, resident of Selma, Alabama passed away November 29, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for December 7, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church officiated by Rev. B. T. Booker. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Gardens directed by Miller Funeral Service.

He was preceded in death by parents Rev. Perry Hall and Gertrude Hall.

Survivors include spouse, Ocie Courtland; one son, Bobby (Naomi) Effinger; one daughter, Laura (Will) Acree; one brother Rev. Stanley (Debbie) Hall, Sr.; four sisters, Renevea (J.B.) Courtland, Bertha Mae Courtland, Elbertha Hatcher, and Jean Hall; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, one sister-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an friends.
