A former clerk in the Dallas County Circuit Clerk’s office pleaded guilty Friday to first-degree theft.
In January, Dallas County grand jury had indicted Dylan Davis Hall in October, charging her with taking more than $2,500 from the circuit clerk’s office. Hall was arraigned in October.
Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Jackson said Hall pleaded guilty to taking about $6,500 from the clerk’s office last year.
She is scheduled for sentencing by Circuit Judge Jack Meigs after a pre-sentence investigation and report are completed, which could take a couple of months, Jackson said.
Hall worked in the circuit clerk’s office from December 2008 until November 2009.
Jackson said Hall paid back the money taken.
A trial date had been set for Dec. 6.
