Carter’s Books and Gifts is getting ready for the Holiday season and they are starting with a Holiday Morning day beginning at 9 a.m. today.

“Carter’s enjoys its position as a neighborhood pharmacy and we like to do some different things to bring together the community,” said Carl Bowline, a representative of Carter’s. “The sidewalk brunch is definitely a little different and more fun.”

The festivities will begin with coffee and muffins being given away starting at 9 a.m. and then a brunch will be served at noon and 1 p.m. as guests watch an informal modeling show.

“It’s kind of a way for us to show off the new products for the holiday season,” said Bowline. “New things such as college apparel and holiday accessories will be shown.”

During the morning all gift items will be sold at 25 percent off.

“A Holiday Morning is peaceful and tranquil,” said Bowline. “That is what we want guests to feel when they come.”
