William Newton Gray, 57, of Chunchula, Alabama, formerly of Selma, Alabama passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010.

He was an Air Force veteran during which time he served in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Gray, Sr. and his adoptive parents, Walter J. Gray and Allie H. Gray.

He is survived by four brothers, Herbie J. Gray of Selma, Alabama, James A. “Al” Gray of Columbus, Ohio, Bryan Gray of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Dwayne Gray of Semmes, Alabama; and three sisters, Eloyce Prickett of Selma, Alabama, Malene Williams of Pensacola, Florida, Renee Holloway of Clanton, Alabama with special recognition to his sister Olis Prickett of Alexander City, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 11:00 am at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville, Alabama with the Reverend Art Hartley officiating.
