Aurelia Louise Dickerson Hasty, 62, of Fort Washington, MD.

She transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on September 20, 2010 at Georgetown University Hospital.

She is survived by her father, Alfonso Dickerson; sons, Eldrick Cordell Hasty and Martice Remone Hasty (Machesha); grandchildren, Mekhi Rashaun Hasty and Malik

Shemar Hasty; sisters, Alfreda Moore, Georgia Mae Stovall, Clora Ann Patterson (William), Linda Holmes (Bruce), Aline Milligan, Delamay Nixon, and Carol Ann Harvey; brother, Alfonso Hommer Dickerson. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends, whom all had a special place in her heart. Aurelia is a native of Selma and graduated from R.B. Hudson High School, class of 1966.

Homegoing Services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at From the Heart Church Ministries, 4949 Allentown Road, Suitland, MD 20746. Interment will be immediately after the funeral; arrangement by HODGES & EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME.
