Selma police are searching for a suspect in a house burglary and robbery.
Selma Police Sgt. Doug Stewart said a 35-year-old man sitting in his living room in a house in the 1600 block of Kayser Street was attacked Monday around 11:20 a.m.
The victim had his door open, but the screen door was closed, the police sergeant said.
“The victim stated a male entered his residence wearing a ski mask, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money,” Stewart said. “The offender forced the victim into the bathroom and duct taped his hands behind his back and also placed a plastic bag over his head, securing it with duct tape.”
Stewart said the suspect strut the victim in the head with a firearm, then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
