Selma police are searching for Alonzo Motley, 32, of Selma as a suspect in a stolen property case.

Selma Police Sgt. Doug Stewart said on Aug. 21, police received a report of scaffolds being stolen from a residence on Atlee Street.

“Police Detective Sandra Washburn followed up on leads that led to the arrest of Kendrick Smith, age 32, of Selma for receiving stolen property, second,” Stewart said.

Smith was taken to the Dallas County Jail, and his bond was set at $15,000.

Police are asking the public if they know the whereabouts of Motley or other information that can lead to his arrest to please call 874-6611.
