Mr. James Antonio Conaway

Mr. James Antonio Conaway, age 83, died at his home Wednesday September 22, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh L. and Inez Warden Conaway and his brother, Dr. John W. Conaway.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anne Brice Conaway; son, Doug Conaway; daughters, Pat Conaway Holley and Beth Conaway Godfrey; grandchildren, Chris Conaway, Kim Augustine, Will Holley (Holly), Alden Holley (Karen), Chad Godfrey, Samuel Conaway, Anthony Godfrey and Russell Conaway; great-grandchildren, Aris Stevens, Jada Holley and William Holley and his sister, Flora Conaway Painters.

A graveside service will be held Friday September 24, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverends Ron Stone and Henry Smith officiating and  Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Thursday night.

Mr. Conaway was a deacon of the Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church of Marion Junction, Associate member of First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Elks Club.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123-1718, Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church of Marion Junction or First Presbyterian Church.
