George Ross Fortner, age 62, of Deatsville, AL and formerly from Selma, AL,

passed away August 30, 2010.He is survived by his wife, Gail Fortner; daughter, Lauren Michelle-Talley; grandchildren, Avery Malai Fortner and Andrew Zayne Talley; father

and mother-in-law, Gary and Betty Burden; brothers-in-law, Charles (Leanne) Moseley

and Steve Moseley and sister-in-law, Lynn Smith.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Gardner officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to The American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111-2203.
