Michael E. Spicer, Jr., 27, resident of Marion,Alabama passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010.

Visitation will be Monday, August 23, 2010, 6-8 p.m. at Melvin Miller Funeral Service in Marion, Alabama.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 24, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at the Berean Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Rev. C. Dwight Woods.

Burial will follow in Simpson Chapel Cemetery directed by Melvin Miller Funeral Service of Marion.

Mr. Spicer loved spending time with family, attending church, singing, and playing basketball.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Douglas Sanders.

Survivors include father, Michael Spicer, Sr.; mother and stepfather, Linda Wilson Woods and Michael Woods; special parent, Richard Lee; daughter, Nykesha L. Hogan Spicer; two sisters, Tomeka Spicer, and Sharelle Alexander; grandparents, Idella Sanders, Rev. James and Ida Spicer, Jimmy and Carol Woods.

Pallbearers will be James B. Hobbs, Terrell Sanders, Termayne Wilson, Darrell Childs, Elijah Tabb, and Edward Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Spicer and Kelvin Spicer.
