Mr. Mitchell Smith, 74, resident of Selma, Alabama passed away August 8, 2010 at Merrywood Lodge Care Center. Services are scheduled for August 14, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Beloved Apostolic Church of God officiated by Pastor Johnny Cunningham. Burial will

follow in East Salem Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He is preceded in death by parents, Louise and Jack Smith; daughter, Sarah Ann Miller; brothers, Chester Smith, C.D. Smith, Edward Smith, and Richard Smith; sister, Eddie Mae Smith.

Survivors include spouse, Fannie Smith; four sons, Eddie Smith, Wilbert, Mitchell Smith Jr., and Barry Smith; daughters, Violet Gilbert, Ora Goodwin, Debra Blocton, Sure-

tha Smiley, and Lakesia Brown; sister, Annie Laura Griffin; twenty-seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, three sisters-in-laws, seventeen nieces, and twelve nephews. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
