SELMA — Former CHAT Academy library clerk Susan Martin has been sentenced to a year suspended, two years supervised probation and ordered to serve 30 days in the Dallas County Jail.
Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong handed down the sentence Wednesday. Martin was in court Tuesday for sentencing, but Armstrong wanted to think about it, calling her case “significant.”
Last month, Martin was found guilty of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor. Evidence given at her hearing proved she engaged in a sexual act with a 16-year-old male.
Martin told the court Tuesday, “I know what I did was wrong. I regret it. I will regret it the rest of my life.”
