The Selma Branch of Alabama Ag Credit welcome Dale Williamson as the new loan officer.
Williamson comes to Alabama Ag Credit with six years of experience in agricultural, commercial, consumer and mortgage loans. Previously, he served as assistant vice president and load officer of a Camden bank.
A graduate of The University of Alabama, his advanced knowledge of timber, real estate and cattle comes in part from owning and managing a six-generation-old family farm with nearly 300 head of cattle. This farm is the largest commercial hay operation in Wilcox County, producing more than 5,000 bales annually.
Dale is also very involved in the agriculture community, serving as president of the Wilcox County Cattlemen’s Association, board of directors of the Wilcox County Alabama Farmer’s Federation and a member of the Alabama Bankers Association, founding member of the Wilcox County Rotary Club and lifelong member of Selma First Presbyterian Church.
“I am excited to work for Alabama Ag Credit because I believe that we play a vital role in financing farms and rural land in Alabama,” said Williamson. “I hope to develop new relationships with future customers while maintaining an excellent level of customer service for our current customers.”
