Lois Steele Cornett, age 92, formerly of Selma, Alabama, died July 23, 2010 at her home in Demopolis, Alabama.

She was born March 19, 1918 in Centreville (Bibb County) to the late James LaFayette and Etha Johnson Steele.

She was preceded in death by her parents James LaFayette and Etha Johnson Steele, and her husband – William Felton Cornett II.

Survivors include son- Dr. William Felton Cornett, III, DMV of Alpharetta, GA, sister- Nell Steele Coleman of Demopolis, AL, her granddaughters, Catherine Cornett Eddins, and Kimberly Steele Cornett Moore, great granddaughter Kendall Steele Moore, great grandsons, Thomas Eddins, IV, Reeves Eddins, and Mason Alexander Moore.
