Ms. Doris Lee (Jute) Alexander, 75, resident of Selma, Alabama passed away Saturday, July 17, 2010.

Services will be held Saturday July 24, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at the Springhill Baptist Church, Jones, Alabama officiated by Minister Willie D. Browder.

Burial will follow in churchyard cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Robert Alexander and Mrs. Lizzie Johnson Alexander; brothers, Frank Alexander and James Johnson, Jr.; sister, Honey Johnson.

Survivors include son, Quintin Alexander; daughter, Loletha Alexander; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2010 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

The body will lie in state Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church.
