One killed in two-car accident Saturday evening

A Selma man was killed in a two car accident Saturday night on Ala. 22 in Dallas County.

Alabama State Troopers have identified David Johnson, 57, the driver of a 1995 Chevy Geo Prizm as the fatality.

Jonathan Peake, 32, of Selma was the driver of the other vehicle, a BMW 325IS. The BMW was occupied by a passenger, whose identification state troopers did not have at the time.

Peake and the passenger of the BMW were transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Their conditions were unavailable.

The crash, which occurred around 8 p.m., is under investigation by the state troopers, according to Phyllis Houser, a communications officer for the department.
