A prayer service is set for 5:30 p.m. today (Friday) at Bloch Park in Selma for the safe return of a 17-year-old Selma resident missing since Saturday.
The service will last about an hour, said Angela Benjamin, Selma City Council member and relative of the missing teenager.
Tarasha “Pooh” Benjamin went missing Saturday morning. She told her mother, Regina, she was going to the local flea market, but she never arrived there.
Tarasha was wearing short blue jean shorts, a white short-sleeve shirt, a silver necklace and possibly silver sandals. She has a tattoo on her right upper arm which says “Pooh”.
