Vernon Leon Denson, age 69, of Wedowee, AL., died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Wedowee Hospital.
He was born February 6, 1941 in Mississippi.
He was a railroad conductor and a Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by wife, Angela Denson ,Wedowee, AL.;son Craig Denson , Selma, AL; daughter , Katherine Cauthen, Birmingham, AL; son , Kenneth Denson ,Bay Minette, AL; son , Gaylen Denson -Valley Grande, AL ;son , John Denson,Birmingham, AL; son , Kevin Denson – Warrior, AL; daughter – Emily Denson – Remlap, AL; step daughter, Megan Thornburg , Birmingham, AL; step son – Jacob Gleason – Wedowee, AL;
sister, Pearlie Mae Smith , Sunny South, AL;sixteen grandchildren four great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL., on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
