Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate a suspected hit-and-run accident that occurred Saturday on Dallas County Road 32.

Trooper John Reese said Tracy Lamar Cunningham, 27, is in critical condition at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery as a result of the accident.

The motorcycle on which Cunningham was traveling collided head-on with a 1993 green Honda Civic, according to Reese.

Authorities do not know what caused the accident.

“The accident is under investigation,” Reese said of the accident. “We don’t know, actually, where there were two occupants to the Honda or just one.”
