Mary Agnes Friday, 80, of Stanton died Friday, June 4, 2010.She was born on Friday, March 28, 1930 in Chilton Co., AL, daughter of the late Dennis Oliver Burnett, Sr. and the late Mildred Schurter Burnett.
She retired in 2004 after 60 years of working for the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol (Gary) Harrison of Stanton, AL; two sons, Ed (Nina) Dennis of Burnsville, AL, Perry Friday of Stanton, AL; daughter, Vicki (Ted) Anz of Stanton, AL.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Dennis O.&Mildred Burnett; husband, Lewis Friday.
Friends were received from 6-8, Sunday, June 6, 2010 @ MartinFuneral Home Chapel.
Services were held Monday, June 7, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating.
Interment followed in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Stanton, Alabama. Pallbearers were Casey Carter, Brooks Burnett, Bobby Burnett, Jeff Lenoir, Russell Seales, and Johnny Higginbotham. Honorary pallbearer, Burton Huff.
