Mr. Darrie Lumpkin, age 39, resident of Orrville, AL. passed away on May 31, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Hospital.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Keith High School officiated by Rev. John Lumpkin.
Burial will follow in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Home Selma.
Survivors include spouse, Tracy Rivers Lumpkin; mother, Mary M. Lumpkin; father, Clabon (Rachel) Johnson; daughters, Ja’Lexis Nicole Lumpkin, and Katerria Rivers; ten
brothers, Tyrone (Deborah) Lumpkin, Alphonso (Maggie) Lumpkin, Armonee (Mary) Lumpkin, Rev. John (Adrienne) Lumpkin, William (Louvenia) Lumpkin, Charles (Diane) Lumpkin, all of Orrville, AL., Anthony (LaThosia) Lumpkin, Frank (Jennifer) Johnson, both of Selma, AL., Sylvester (Gail) Lumpkin of Mobile, AL., and Clabon Johnson, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; one sister, Caroline Lumpkin of Mobile, AL.; sisters-in-laws, Kim (Cleo) Madison, Tracy (Greg) West, Cora (Charlie) Sanders; brothers-in-laws, Isiah (Lola) Simmons, Alonzo (Avis) Rivers, April Lamar Rivers, Kelvin Rivers, and Eric (Le’Twanna) Rivers.
Other relatives include two aunts, Eliza (J.C.) Young, Mobile, AL, Minerva Bennett, Birmingham, AL, and twelve sisters-in-laws, five brothers-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews. Special caretakers Frederick Simmons, Eric Rivers, Bernard Rivers, and Ernest Carter.
