Mrs. Loretta Shannon, 76, resident of Sardis, Alabama passed away on May 22, 2010 at her resident. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2010 11:00 a.m. at New Shiloh Baptist Church officiated by Elder Demetrius Young. Burial will follow in Shannon-Glover Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include one son, Mack Shannon Jr. (Cynthia), Sardis Alabama; brothers, Hayward Young (Carolyn) Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry George (Shirley), and Tommie Young, Selma, Alabama; sisters, Catherine Woods (Johnny), Mary Nelson, Selma, Alabama, Georgia Henly (Willie) Cincinnati, Ohio, Mildred Craig, Cleveland , Ohio, Hannah Gibson, Orrville, Alabama; sister-in-law, Ruby L. Young, Birmingham, Alabama, uncle, Alex George. Other relatives include three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, three brothers-in-laws, three sisters-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews.
