The 2010 senior class of Morgan Academy walked the campus as enrolled students for the last time Friday. The 39 graduates will disperse this fall to colleges, universities or wherever they choose.

“Today marks the end of our time here, a goodbye, but also the completion of just one chapter of our lives,” said salutation Katherine Jackson. “The next stage in our life is a time to build on what we already are.”

Valedictorian Laura Talton challenged her fellow graduates to be true to themselves.

“We must stop fitting in and start stepping out,” Talton said. “Only by being our sincere, unique selves will we truly succeed in life.”

Headmaster Randy Skipper wished students success in the years ahead.

“I want them to take what they’ve learned here and put it forth in their life and be the citizens I know they can be,” Skipper said.
