Evelyn McMillian Mizelle, age 86, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010.
Services will be held on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at Barrett Road Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Debra Born officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
The burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Mizelle is preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Lynn Mizelle McGuire of Jackson, Al.; sister, Jeanette McMillian Burt of Tallahassee, Fl.; brother, Charles Ross McMillian of Selma; nephew, Vernon Lamar Burt of Tallahassee, Fl.; and parents, Charles R. and Ollie G. McMillian of Selma, Al.
She was survived by her husband of 66 years Henry A. Mizelle; daughter, Charlotte Mizelle Veach (Morris) of Selma; grandchildren, Morris Craig Veach (Linda) of Montgomery, Shannon Mizelle Veach Neil of Birmingham, Rick McGuire of Mobile, Brianne McGuire Rowland of Jackson, Al.; great grandchildren, Brandon Craig Veach of Montgomery, Mary Kaylin Veach of Montgomery, Jordyn Mizelle Neil of Birmingham, Ethan McGuire of Mobile, Shaun Matthew McGuire of Mobile, Chloe McGuire of Mobile, and Isabella Grace Rowland of Jackson, Al.; great grand pets, Bogie Veach and Emma Neil; nephews and nieces, Keith C.
