Fred Garrett, age 84, born October 6, 1925, passed on March 19, 2010 in Birmingham, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his wife Lela Belle Mays Garrett.
He is survived by six children, Lela Belle Garrett, Fred Garrett, Jr., Dr. Janice E. Garrett Booker, Edith Marie Garrett, David Lee Garrett, and Benjamin O. Garrett; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 24, at Bushelon Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 12:00 Noon at Trinity Baptist Church 900 Graymont Avenue, West Birmingham, Alabama 35204
