Dee Jones Jr., age 63, resident of Marion, Alabama passed away on March 14, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for March 20, 2010, 1:00 P.M. at Morning Star Baptist Church, Marion Junction, Alabama, officiated by Rev. R.L. Tolbert. Burial will follow in Morning Star Church Cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.
Survivors include spouse Christine Jones; five sons, Cedric Cook of Champagne, Illinois, Gary, Tavoriss, De’Andre of Marion, Alabama, Courtney Jones preceded him in death, two daughters, Sandra Alexander of Selma, Alabama, Michele Coleman preceded him in death, three brothers, Oscar Jones of Austel, Georgia, Cleveland Jones, Ralph Jones of
Selma, Alabama, Horrace Pope preceded him in death, three sisters, Jessie Mae Tolbert of Selma, Alabama, Willie Bell Pope of Rockford, Georgia, Theone Ousley of Augusta, Georgia, Lena Louise Jones preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be nephews, cousins, and friends.
Other relatives include twelve grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.
