Mr. Lawrence McCrear, age 69, resident of Birmingham, Al., formerly of Orrville, Al., passed away on March 9, 2010 at St. Vincent’s East, Birmingham, AL.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2010, 12:00 Noon at Rising Star Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ernest Williams, church pastor is Rev. Eugene Bennett. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by parents; Johnnie and Kingie McCrear.
Survivors include spouse; Dorothy A. Williams McCrear, one son; Lawrence McCrear Jr., three daughters; Carrie Hicks-Turner, Valerie McCrear, and Kimberly McCrear, four brothers; Allen McCrear, Johnnie McCrear, Sylvester McCrear, and Glenn Carson, seven sisters; Sadie Moseley, Clara Harris, Helen Thompson, Dorothea McCrear, Kingie McCrear, Clotea Green, and Willie B. Harris, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one son-in-law, five brother -in-laws, four sister-in-laws, and a host of
nieces and nephews.
Other relatives include two great aunts; ruby Carson and Juanita Davenport.
