It’s time to get ready for a ball.

The Central Alabama Animal Shelter has set Feb. 27, 6 p.m., as the date for its largest fundraiser of the year — Paws Ball — at the Carl Morgan Convention Center,

“This is a big-time fundraiser with live dancing, food, drink auction and silent auction,” said Kelly Sue Giampietro, a member of CAAS.

Tables are still available. for $160 each or people may purchase individual tickets for $20 each.

The ball will feature and auction. One of those items is a National Championship replica football.

All money collected will go directory to the shelter.

Of course the Paws Ball will also have live music, food drink and many people coming locally to make the evening complete.
