Carrie Rush Smith, age 94, of Selma, died Friday February 12, 2010. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Clayton Smith and her husband Douglas Coburn Smith.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty “Jerri” (Roger) Roy of Valley Grande, Shirley (John) Wood of Selma and Charlene (Joe) Raker of Jones; her sister Minnie B. “Tootie” Stoudemire, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday February 14, 2010 in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Daniel Martin officiating and burial followed at Pineview Memory Gardens.
