Howard H. Davis, Jr., 75, a resident of Evans, GA, formerly of Selma passed February 6, 2010 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon Friday February 12, 2010 in the chapel of J. H. Williams &Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden under the direction of J. H. Williams &Sons Funeral Home.He was born August 31, 1934 to the late Howard H. Davis Sr. and Gussie Vincent Davis.Howard served in the U S Air Force for 20 years retiring as a Master Sergent and as a n Avionics Instrument System Specialist. He later went to work at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in California as an editor /writer of engineering technical manuals. He retired from Mare Island after 16 years. He again began to work as an assistant instructor Napa Community College in the Criminal Justice and retired again after 6 years with the school. During these years he received his Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Chapman College. He leaves behind his companion and caregiver Margaret Davis; a son Michael Davis; nephew Edrico C. Davis; great nephews Sean and Eric Davis; cousins, Lena Belle Williams, Olivia Aikens, and other cousins relatives and friends.
