Rose Marie Dennis Bennett Turner, age 69, died February 8, 2010. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lennie Murphy, her stepfather, Zannie Murphy Sr., her father, Charlie Dennis and a brother James Dennis. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Teresa Martin, Brenda Logue (Blakie), son, James “Jimbo” Bennett (Katie), she has 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Harvell, Blake Horton (Candice), Bobby Logue and Brent Logue (Veronica), 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Turner has 4 sisters, Emmie Jo Posey (Donald), Carol Ann Harmon (Gene), Brenda Tubbs (Dennis), Lennie Murphy Malone, 2 brothers, Charles (Bubba) Dennis and Zannie L. Murphy, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 10, 2010 in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
