Hazel J. Osburn Collins, age 73, of Selma died Friday, February 5, 2010 at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Osburn, Sr; husbands, Charles Collins and George W. Osburn and brother, Henry L. Grace, Jr.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Duck officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Garden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 5-7:00 p.m.
Survivors include two daughters, Joy “Cricket” (Bobby) Barnette of Selma and Debbie (James) Phillips of Selma; one son, Andrew “Doug” (Rose) Osburn of Selma; daughter-in-law, Charleen Osburn, two sisters, Maxine Rye of Georgia and Barbara Slaughter of Loxley; six brothers, John (Gerald) Grace of Robertsdale, James (Theresa) Grace of Loxley, Clifton (Ann) Grace of Gallion, Jerry (Pat) Grace of Gallion, Richard (Hope) Grace of Gallion and Lewis (Caroline) Grace of Reform; grandchildren, Michelle (Bubba) Adams, Kenneth “Bootie” (Cindy) Osburn, Jr., Eric (Lenore) Brooks, Amanda (Tim) Latham, James Phillips, Jr., Tammy (Russell) Constable, Christopher (Jennifer) Reed, Andy (Jennifer) Osburn, Amber Osburn, Jessica (Tracy) Abbott and Cassie Kinman and great-grandchildren, Amy and Hannah Rinehart, Dylan, Taylor and Ethan Osburn, Cody Brooks, Austin Latham, Cathryn Phillips, Damian Constable, Austin Reed, Zoe and Jack Osburn, Dalton, Jones, Chandler, Draime and Traceton Abbott.
Pallbearers will be Eric Brooks, James Phillips, Kenneth “Bootie: Osburn, Christopher Reed, Andy Osburn and J.R. Grace.
The family would like to thank her special friends, Dialysis Center Nurses, Vaughan Regional Cath Lab, Dr. Aksut, Dr. Taylor and West Alabama Transportation.
