James M. Sealy, age 75, of Prattville, AL, passed away February 4, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mattie Sealy; two grandsons, Mark Davenport and James Allen Walker and daughter-in-law, Mary Sealy. Surviving are his wife, Faye G. Sealy; children, Shirley (Charles) Davenport, James M. “Bud” Sealy, Jr., Kathy A. Crowe, Donald L. (Darlene) Sealy and Ronald G. Sealy; sisters, Mabeline (Grady) Burnett and Doris Ann Hunt; brother, Bobby Gene (Joann) Sealy; grandchildren, Charles “Davy” (Christa) Davenport, Jr., Dereck Sealy, Shawn Rook, Jeremy (Kim) Crowe, Buddy Crowe, Elizabeth Crowe, Murphy Sealy, Jordan Sealy and Donald L. Sealy, Jr.; step-grandchildren, Steven Subel, Alicia Subel and Wesley Subel; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dersch officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 5-7:00 p.m.Current employees of the Selma Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
