Taylor Bone, a senior at John T. Morgan Academy, has signed with Faulkner University.

Bone, who will major in pre-law, made the announcement Wednesday morning at Morgan with his parents. Dean Briggs, linebacker coach at Faulkner, represented the university at the ceremony.

Faulkner is in its third year of an official football program. The school is signing 45 other seniors this spring.

Briggs said the coach staff was drawn to Taylor by three areas: his exceptional academic record, personal character and outstanding football ability.

“A guy like Taylor will come into Faulkner and be very successful,” Briggs said.

Bone will play on the defensive front.
