Mr. Eugene Dawson, Sr., 79, of Selma, Alabama, died January 22, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dr. C.A. Lett. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include his wife, Verdell Lett Dawson, Ed. O.; one son, Eugene Dawson, Jr.; seven daughters, Marva Billingsley, Victoria (Willie) Vinson, Melinda (Todd) Hillman, Patricia (Everett) Perkins, Christina (Shawn) Blue, Bernice Jones, and Alida Hines; two brothers, Clifford (Johnnie) Dawson and Clyde (Sandi) Dawson; two sisters, Blanch Glass and Edmonia Borden; aunt, Ruth Practer; fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four sons-in-law; four brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; six nieces and eight nephews.
