Ovetta Davis, 94, of Plantersville, Alabama, died January 14, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for January 23, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Elyton Baptist Church officiated by Rev. J. R. Curry. Burial will follow in Elyton Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc.
Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Davis; parents, Garther and Lillie Baity; five sons, David Jackson, Willie T. Jackson, Nathaniel Jackson, Clarence Jackson, and Menzo Jackson; two daughters, Mamie Lee McCary and Altha Harvell; four brothers, Jasper Baity, Garther Baity, Nelson Baity, and Dolton Baity; and two sisters, Henretta Peoples and Rosetta Sturdivant.
Pallbearers will include her grandsons.
