Mrs. Berlena S. Garror, born August 15, 1930, departed this life for eternity on Friday, January 8, 2010 at a local hospital. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband of 59 years,
Mr. John L. Garror, Sr.; one devoted son, John L. Garror, Jr.; 3 devoted daughters, Betty (Joseph) Smith, Linda Vernell Peoples and Shanta Garror all of Mobile, Al; son-in-law, Mitchell Busby; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Angie Smith of Mobile, Al, Edreen Snow of Orrville, Al and Hattie Ridgeway of Brooklyn, NY; brother, Robert (Sandra) Smith of Atlanta, GA; aunt, Easter Smith of Mobile, Al; 7 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law, 3 godchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church (Plateau) on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral hour. Rev. A.J. Crawford
