Willie Frank Deason, 69, of Tyler, AL died Monday, January 11, 2010 at a local hospital. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Lawrence Brown-Serv-ice Funeral Home with a service following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
Mr. Deason is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Etoile Deason, son, Mark (Alison) Deason; daughter, Tammy (Tim) Troha; grandchildren, Randall Huffman, Courtney Huffman, Reid Deason, Parker Deason, and Trevor Deason; great grandchildren, Payton Huffman and Drake Nichols; sister, Gladys Stubbs; brother, James Otis Deason; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ethel Deason; brothers, Charles and Carlton Deason.
The family would like give a special thanks to the Maintenance Crew at International Paper Riverdale. Mr. Deason was a people person; he loved to be around people and especially loved spending lots of time with his grandchildren.
