Tommie Joe Fulford, 88, of Jones died on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Plantersville Christian Cemetery with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service directing.
Mr. Fulford was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Fulford.
He is survived by his brothers, Claude Fulford of Plantersville and Kenneth Fulford of Valley Grande; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Gay, Karl Boyer, Bill Fulford, Levi McCary, Brian Kidd McCary, Noodie Carroll, and Bobby O’Neal.
Mr. Fulford proudly served his country in the U.S Navy during World War II as an aircraft mechanic. He also taught flying and loved to fly.
