Earnest Benjamin, 91, of Pennsylvania, died Dec. 31, 2009 in Pennsylvania. Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:00pm at Hopewell Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Clearthur Billingsley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Deacon Earnest Benjamin is survived by his brother, Walter Benjamin; his sister, Mahalia Banks; his children and grandchildren, Thelma Terrence: Stafford, Angela, Sybil, and Jeremiah; Eva Lois – Gabriel Slater: Monica and Patrice; Charles Josephine Benjamin: Donald, Darrell, Jerel, and Brandi; Judy – Robert Henderson, Sr.: Robert, Jr. and Yolanda; Glenn Benjamin; Jerry – Cynthia Benjamin: Rachelle and Albert; Dinah Benjamin; Denise Remy: Paul Christopher; 26 great-grandchildren, 10 stepchildren, 33 step grandchildren, 71 step great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
