Mary Nell Dixon, age 79, of Orrville, AL, passed away November 19, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jimmie Mayton; sister, Sara Gray Lawrence and son-in-law, Larry Edwards.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Ray Dixon; sons, Scott (Tessa) Wilson, William (Valerie) Wilson, Stan (Shelia) Wilson and Thomas Richard (Ruth Ann) Dixon; daughters, Patricia Edwards, Lynn (Wayne) Freeman and Cynthia Godwin; sisters, Ann (Bubba) Thomas, Jewel (Frank) Williamson and grandchildren, Karson Wilson, Jackson Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Nina Wilson, Justin LaGrange, Brian Freeman, Whitney Osburn, Jessie Lynn Dixon, Craig Skinner and Blake Skinner.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Orrville Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Rutherford officiating. Interment will be in Orrville Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Davis, Jimmy Grier, Beck Williams, Robert Ratliff, Eric Desch, and Blake Skinner.
The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
