Winnie B. Milhouse Green, 77, a resident of Selma passed Nov. 8, 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 pm Saturday Nov. 14, 2009 at Grant Chapel AME Church with Pastor Marion Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden with J. H. Williams &Sons Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Alex Green, Jr. Also preceding her were her parents Henry and Lura Milhouse, a brother Henry Milhouse, Jr. and a sister Luratha Milhouse.
Her memories will be cherished by those who loved her including 5 sisters; Dorothy Brown and Carrie (Arthur) Pressley of Selma, Luella Summers of Suisum, CA, Alice Scott of Atlanta, GA and Estella King Edwards; 2 brothers, Fred Milhouse and Walter Milhouse of Spring Valley, NY; a very special nephew James Milhouse of Selma; godson Ramon J. Underwood of Florence, AL; Sister and brother-in-law Margaret (Leon) Berry of Cincinnati, OH; and a devoted niece Lela Underwood of Selma.
