Roderick Brewer Sr., 38, of Selma, AL, passed away November 7, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for November 14, 2009 at 12 noon at St. Paul Community Methodist Church officiated by Reverend Joseph Coleman. Burial is to follow at Elmwood Cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.
Roderick is preceded in death by his brother John W. Brewer Jr.
He is survived by his wife Phillisia Brewer; his parents John W. Brewer Sr., and Mary Tripp; his three sons, Eric Burton, Roderick C. Brewer Jr., and Devonte Brewer; his two brothers, Kelsey L. Tripp Sr. (Keeshunda) and Johnathan Brewer; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers are John Dubose, Nelson Purifoy, Marcus Dubose, Daniel Miles Jr., Audwin Walker, Charles Matthews, Dewayne Matthews, and Mark Bethel.
